If you believe you have a comprehensive understanding of history, it’s time to reconsider. If you still harbor doubts about the accuracy of historians, pack your bags and visit the Hoover Dam yourself.

For those unaware, the Hoover Dam was initially commissioned by the US Bureau of Reclamation in 1931. However, what truly distinguishes it is the Monument Plaza section of the dam.

To everyone’s astonishment, the most remarkable discovery lies right beneath your feet. There, you can witness what appears to be a celestial map dating back to the time of the dam’s construction, approximately 25,772 years ago during Earth’s axial precession.

Axial precession is recognized as the slowest cycle that can be addressed in Long Now’s 10,000 Year Clock and, surprisingly, it remains one of the world’s greatest enigmas.

While Oskar J. W. Hansen was the original artist of the monument, it is evident that he was not responsible for creating the 26,000-year-old map, to say the least. Unfortunately, since there are very few images predating Hansen’s work, we cannot determine whether he was aware of the monument or not during his involvement.
