A Facebook post with more than 21,000 shares purports to show images of a woman who gave birth to eleven babies.
The claim suggests two misleading images as evidence: one displaying America’s famous “Octomom,” who gave birth to eight babies in 2009, and the other showing eleven babies born on the same day in India, to different mothers.
On March 12, 2018, an article was originally posted to Facebook on a page based in Nigeria, suggesting that Keya is gaining traction through a miraculous event. The post encourages Facebook users to “God is great” and share the post quickly to receive their benefits.
An internal search for the image showing a medical staff next to a row of 11 new-born babies revealed several articles about a woman giving birth to 11 babies, dating back to 2012.

We look at the bottom of the image to get more clues. The group is pictured in front of a banner that reads: “Test Tube Baby Center Survey.”
A more specific Google embedded image search of the same photo with the search term “test tube babies Surat” reveals several articles claiming that a woman gave birth to 11 babies in the western Indian city of Surat.
In fact, the image was taken after the delivery of 11 babies on November 11, 2011, in Surat at a Vitro Fertilization (IVF) center.
Thirty months earlier in the same center. However, 11 of the couples gave birth to their babies outside the special date of 11/11/11 and celebrated operations for the delivery, the Times of India reported.
After the births, the IVF center published the photos of the blog that was recorded at that time.
As for the second image, which portrays a heavily pregnant woman from the front and side, it features an American woman named Nadya Suleman, also known as Natalie Suleman. Suleman was nicknamed “Octomom” by the media in 2009 after giving birth to eight babies, all through IVF treatment. She already had six children when she became pregnant with the octuplets.
