National Geographic channel conducted a large-scale opinion survey to find out the views of the American people towards extraterrestrial beings. The results show that 80 million people – or 36% of the US population – believe in the existence of spacecraft from another civilization. 79% of these people claim that the government is hiding information about other beings in the universe.
If you accidentally encounter an alien creature, only 22% of Americans think of making friends, 15% will run fast and only 2% dare to attack strangers.

Only 17% of Americans do not believe UFOs exist, while the percentage of people holding a “double” view is up to 48%.
