Alyce’s Second Miracle Baby Came To His Family
Alyce and Jesse’s journey to a second baby is one of hope after IVF, and proof that miracles aren’t just real, they can happen more than once.
Alyce, 31, and her husband Jesse, 30, spent 18 months attempting to conceive their first child, but they were successful. She had a very low AHM count (low count); she would likely have one child, but it was quite doubtful that she would ever have two; if she wanted to have children, she required IVF.
“Only one embryo was harvested for my kid, and to their great surprise, it successfully developed and was transplanted in October 2016. Harvey was born miraculously on June 28, 2017.”
Harvey’s life was delightful as he developed into a handsome toddler. The couple spent two years constructing their ideal house, and Alyce never used birth control or timed her ovulation since she was certain that her low count meant that Harvey would be their only child. However, fate had other intentions. A week after moving into their new house, the couple were pregnant with their second child.
“I didn’t find out we were pregnant until six weeks as I thought it would never happen. We were absolutely surprised, sʜᴏᴄᴋᴇᴅ and sᴄᴀʀᴇᴅ, hoping that everything would be ok.
As fate would have it, Alyce’s pregnancy progressed beautifully, and nine months later, it was time to meet their second baby.
Alyce and Jesse were finally able to hold their second miraculous child, Norah.
“I was concerned about this delivery because I wanted it to be as miraculous as my son’s, and it was. I understood what I wanted to accomplish in the mirror and with an assisted delivery, but I did not have a birth plan. I enjoyed it immensely, and I now have two lovely children to adore and nurture.”
