The couple hails from Kozhikode, Kerala. Their names are Sahad and Jia Paval. They are a ᴛʀᴀɴsɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ couple. According to media reports, 23-year-old Sahad and 21-year-old ᴛʀᴀɴs woman Jia have been living together for the past three years. Zia was born as a boy and later became a girl, while Jihad went from being a girl to being a boy.

Her story recently came to public attention when Jia wrote in an Instagram post that she is not a woman by birth or by her body but that she had a dream of being a woman and having a child call her mother. Jia is also a classical dance teacher in Kozhikode. He said, “we started living together three years ago and then thought that our lives should be different from other ᴛʀᴀɴsɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ’s. That’s why we wanted a child, so that we would have someone in this world after us. That’s why we took this decision.”
