Watch terrifying footage of a carpet python seizing a 9-week-old cub named Jasper and attempting to suffocate him in a field.
It happens in an instant: Jasper sniffs nonchalantly as the python attacks from behind a bush. Jasper tries to wriggle away, but the snake has a tight grip on him.
Fortunately, a man nearby in the field heard the pup crying and ran out to help free it from the snake, although it wasn’t easy.
The man eventually throws away the python, and we’re delighted to say that this story has a happy ending… Jasper was good to both animals; except for a bite on the ear, which his owners corrected, he has returned to his usual self.
