A tiny mouse emerges from a tulip tree in sunny Bournemouth as spring rolls in.

This adorable little mouse could have been posing for the camera while sitting on this tulip.

The cute creature turned around and looked directly into photographer Miles Herbert’s camera near his Bournemouth home earlier this month.

While it looks about as comfortable as a bug on the plant, the harvest mouse wasn’t just resting, it was doing something a little more destructive.

The little creature climbed inside the tulip flower to eat the stamen inside before climbing back out and continuing its search for food.

“Mice are the smallest rodent in the UK and the only UK mammal to have a prehensile tail that helps it climb up stems and branches.

‘This agility makes it easier for them to climb the flower stalks.
