This adorable little mouse could have been posing for the camera while sitting on this tulip.
The cute creature turned around and looked directly into photographer Miles Herbert’s camera near his Bournemouth home earlier this month.
While it looks about as comfortable as a bug on the plant, the harvest mouse wasn’t just resting, it was doing something a little more destructive.
The little creature climbed inside the tulip flower to eat the stamen inside before climbing back out and continuing its search for food.

The cute creature was not resting, but had climbed on the flower to eat the delicious stamen that was hidden inside, with the photos taken earlier this month.
Miles said: “She can be seen eating down to the stamens, then cleaning herself to remove some pollen and water before leaving the tulip.”
Miles, 57, said: “The mouse looks so smug that he got up there and got food.”

It is the only mammal in the UK to have a strong prehensile tail, something that helps it climb branches and stems in search of food.
