We’re back now and in this video, we’ll be investigating Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk County, England, the UK’s most infamous UFO crash site. This forest is located 200 miles east of Rudlo Manor and spans six square miles.
VIDEO:
It became notorious after an alleged UFO encounter on December 26, 1980, near a US Air Force leased airbase by the RAF. Strange lights were reported on the horizon, possibly from a downed aircraft, and US servicemen were sent to investigate. According to accounts, radios failed, and as they approached the area, they saw a strange triangular craft on the ground, about three meters wide at its base. If the encounter had ended there, it would likely have been dismissed as a prank.
However, what occurred over the next 24 hours made the incident the most famous UFO event in British history. The next evening, Deputy base commander Lieutenant Colonel Charles Halt and a small team of military investigators headed out to examine the site.
They discovered evidence of damaged trees facing in the same direction towards a clearing where they located a strange object. It had an unknown description on its side, Glass, Victoria, Gliss, and was warm to the touch. There was an electric feeling, and it was like being drawn in. Later, they took a photo of a UFO reconstruction and noticed an unexplained figure in the image. It appeared too solid and detailed to be a fly or a bug, and the edges were translucent. Moreover, some children at the time also witnessed strange events.”
