The Royal Air Force (RAF) has just declassified records of unidentified flying object (UFO) detection missions that this force recorded.
The dossier was released on a freedom of information request, according to The Daily Star. According to the published records, London is a hotbed for the detection of strange phenomena with 54 incidents a year while Kent County has 30 cases a year. Other strange object detection missions have also been reported in various parts of England, Scotland, Wales and across the English Channel.
The RAF is said to have invested a lot of money and manpower to collect data on UFO detection missions, which updates the National Office each year. However, this activity was resumed in 2009 after the RAF concluded that there was no evidence of a stealthy alien threat.
