As we all know, Patrick Mahomes usually has business to take care of with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. In the offseason, it remains a sacred day of the week in the Mahomes family, but Patrick may not be thrilled that his wife Brittany shared his routine of sweet treats with their children.
Patrick Mahomes’ Sunday morning tradition
The SI Swimsuit model posted a video on her Instagram story highlighting the Sunday routine with the caption: “Sundays with dad” and a white heart emoji.
The video featured 1-year-old Patrick Lavon Mahomes III, better known as Bronze, stuffing his face while getting ready for some one-on-one time with his dad. Their 3-year-old daughter Sterling was also a part of the family affair.
“We get doughnuts and Bluey with dad,” Brittany narrated, following Bronze to the living room, where Patrick and Sterling were already enjoying the cartoon. The family took a sunny stroll outside afterward, shown in Brittany’s next Instagram story.
Mahomes is not beating the dad bod allegations
Though the reigning Super Bowl MVP has put in plenty of hard work this offseason, the revelation of his indulgent habit won’t quiet the jokes about his “dad bod.”
Mahomes’ sweet tooth is well documented, ever since he called himself a “big snacker” in a GQ Sports video last year. This wouldn’t be the first time that Brittany has exposed him for it on her Instagram either.
At the end of the day, it’s all for his kids. When the NFL season comes back around, Bronze and Sterling will miss those special Sunday mornings while dad and his dad bod dominate the league.
