Archaeologists from the Institute of Caucasus Archeology have unearthed a very strange looking skeleton, with an egg-shaped skull.
The skeleton is believed to be that of a woman who lived between the 4th and 6th centuries. According to Sputniks, it was found near the city of Nazran, in the Caucasus mountains of Russia. The skull of the dead person looks like that of an alien. It was severely deformed and resembled an egg.
Scientists think the shape of the skull and white teeth are a sign of this woman’s noble position and origin. In the video recorded at the scene, it can be seen that the remains have been carefully preserved.
This is not the first time archaeologists have found such skull bones. Many deformed skulls and necks have been found in tombs and burial sites in several ancient countries such as the Alans, Huns and Samaritans. These countries used special techniques to reshape the skull and neck.
Archaeologists believe that the noble class of society at that time used it to emphasize their status. Usually deforming is done by tying the children’s heads with a band or putting a hoop on them when they are young.
