During Diego Costa’s time at Chelsea, at the nightclub in the Surrey mansion

DIEGO COSTA incredibly moved his entire life out of England with him after quitting Chelsea – including the nightclub he had installed in his Surrey mansion.

After being informed that he no longer played a role in Antonio Conte’s plans, the controversial striker was sold back to Atletico Madrid in September 2017 for a fee of 67 million pounds. Before finalizing his switch back to Diego Simeone’s team, he had already relocated his family to the Spanish capital.

The 33-year-old player, who has been linked with a move back to Spain, even put up for sale his entire fleet of automobiles in the United Kingdom in preparation for his departure as he was cleaning up his stuff in the United Kingdom.

But there was one thing that he absolutely did not want to miss out on, and that was the fully functioning club that he had built in the conservatory of his home close to the Blues’ training base in Cobham.

The Spain international, who was born in Brazil, is known to live the good life away from football and was considered one of the squad’s characters while he played for Chelsea.

As a result, he spent a lot of money to have his conservatory transformed into a nightclub.

In addition to that, it featured the most advanced lighting and audio equipment available.

And because he had such a positive experience with that facet of life in London, he was determined to bring it with him to Madrid.

Thus, he gave the order to a group of people to dismantle the club piece by piece and ship it to his residence in Spain. There have been other professional athletes in the past who have utilized their fortune to turn their homes into party venues, so Costa is not the first.

The same thing happened with Samir Nasri’s six million pound Cheshire home, which he sold before leaving Manchester City in 2017.

And Raheem Sterling, who played with Nasri during his time with the City, also has a party room set up in his house.

The disagreement between Diego Costa and Antonio Conte at Chelsea was the topic of conversation during an invitation to his family home extended to Sportsmail by the player.

The Costa family home is filled with mementos and photographs from the striker’s time on the field, including many of the individual accolades he has won as well as pictures from his playing days.

They include a selection of player of the month gongs, trophies from the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA), and even a miniature version of Big Ben. Despite the fαct that Costa will not be playing for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this season, he insists that he has a close relationship with the team’s players and is thankful to his supporters.

This is evidenced by the existence of multiple reminders of his finest days as a player at Chelsea, who he led to the Premier League title twice in the last three years. In addition, there are several recollections of his best days as a player at Manchester United.

The trophy that awarded Costa the title of PFA Player of the Year for the 2014–15 season is prominently displayed on his shelf of trophies, right in front of a doll dressed as Costa playing for Chelsea.

In addition, there is a player of the month award for the Premier League, as well as trophies from both La Liga and his time spent playing for Atletico Madrid.

The huge cup that was awarded by the Spanish newspaper Marca to the best Spanish scorer in La Liga is the most prestigious and important item that can be found on the shelf. There are also additional images of him around the house that serve as mementos of his time spent playing for Atletico Madrid, including one of him and his brother Jair when they were younger.

Costa has stated that the only way he would consider playing for Atletico Madrid is if he was released from his contract with Chelsea, which he had from 2010 to 2014. Yet, it appears that London is where Costa’s honors are most intimately associated with one another, with a miniature statue of the Elizabeth Tower, which is more commonly referred to as Big Ben.

The prolific goalscorer’s affection for the nation’s capital may offer Chelsea supporters reason to believe there is a path leading back to Stamford Bridge for the player.

Yet, while Conte is still the manager of the Blues, it appears extremely improbable that he will make any kind of return.
