Maya is a beautiful Husky who was born a little different from other dogs. Maya had a pretty rough start in life, largely due to a disability she was worn down with. You see, the cub was born without all four of its legs. As you can imagine, this made it extremely difficult for him to perform even the most basic movements, not to mention running or playing like other dogs do.

Maya also has other health problems. She also has a degenerative condition that affects her hips. And as if that wasn’t enough, Maya also suffers from bin disorder which makes it even more difficult for her to get around.

With all those problems, it can seem like the cards were stacked against you. But Maya had something that no one could ever take from her: a strong spirit. The adorable Husky really is a fighter!

And although the vets didn’t give him much of a chance, a kind woman named Kit decided to offer him a forever home. Kit found Maya on Facebook and instantly fell in love with her. With the help of a custom set of wheels and some love and care from her new owner, Maya made it out to the other side smiling.
