The 34-year-old Paris Saint-Germain striker last played on December 22 and will not be back on the pitch until January 3, making the most of his time off by returning to Argentina for a holiday with his family.
During their time in Argentina, Messi invited Antonela out for a night out and posted a video on social media that showed the pair having a great time together. Antonela, sporting a fresh blonde look, and Messi showed off some impressive footwork as they joined in on the music, all while sharing smiles and glances that reflected their deep bond.
Messi wore a neon yellow shirt and white shorts, while Antonela opted for a white crop top and bright green trousers. These outfits were also seen in a family photo during a sunset in Rosario, their hometown, where their children wore matching fluorescent shirts. Messi shared the family snapshot with his 295 million followers on Instagram.
In another shot from the concert, Messi is seen hugging Antonela, with their children playing in the background. Earlier this month, Messi and several Argentine PSG stars flew back to South America on a private jet to celebrate Christmas during Ligue 1’s winter break.
Messi played the full 90 minutes in a recent match in which Mauro Icardi helped secure a point at Lorient. PSG’s next game is scheduled for Monday night against fourth-division side Vannes in the Coupe de France.
