A viral moment between superstar Lionel Messi and the son of his close friend Luis Suárez.
The eye-catching clip was recorded during an Inter Miami match recently. At the time, Messi was unable to play due to an injury in the Copa America final and could only watch Inter Miami from the stands.
Walking out to the seating area, Messi met Benjamin, the son of his teammate Luis Suarez. The 11-year-old also knew Messi because he had met and played with his eldest son Thiago many times in Inter Miami’s under-13 team. However, when he saw Messi, Benjamin did not react and simply walked past. Seeing this, Suarez’s wife Sofia immediately reminded her son to say hello to “Uncle Messi.” Benjamin understood and went out to shake hands with the 2022 World Cup champion.
The short clip lasts just 15 seconds but has gone viral on social media, attracting more than 42.5 million views so far. Many people have praised the way Sofia is raising her children.
