In Chhattisgarh, India, a child named Akanksha was found in a field, unclothed and with her umbilical cord intact.
Locals who discovered her claimed she could not have survived the night due to the onset of frigid winter temperatures.
The baby’s survival has been dubbed an ‘amazing’ feat by nearby residents, who claim that the fierce carnivores in the area can be dangerous. One morning, as local representative Munna Lal Patel was leaving to do duties, he heard a newborn infant crying amidst the dogs.
He stated, ‘At eleven o’clock in the morning, we observed a new baby girl, still in infant garb, sobbing and lying with dogs in our village.’
We rushed and notified the healthcare department before transporting the neonate to the hospital for further evaluation.
Doctors were stunned to discover that the infant was entirely unharmed. Another local said, ‘It’s possible that the warmth from the canines and the mother kept this infant alive.’
“Typically, the temperature decreases at night, and it is already December. I must say that it’s her good fortune.”
