The Lakers sensation himself had the most enjoyable time at NBA baller Anthony Davis’ wedding in Los Angeles over the weekend. Plenty of video exists to demonstrate this.
Davis wed his longtime companion Marlen P. in the presence of cherished ones, notable acquaintances, and former and current teammates.
The reception featured an abundance of singing and dancing, particularly by the groom. Literally on the microphone, he was overheard pleading with his fiancée to “Never Make a Promise” by Dru Hill.
Additionally, he was observed swaying and singing on stage with New Edition during their rendition of the classic “If It Isn’t Love.” At the event, a guest documented the excitement while simultaneously attempting to record Adele, a fellow guest, with her beverage and two-step. She is reportedly courting Rich Paul, an agent and friend of LeBron James.
Guests included Adele, LeBron James, Jared Dudley, Quinn Cook, and former teammates, including DeMarcus Cousins, in addition to Davis’ other teammates Russell Westbrook (he and LeBron carpooled together, which we adore), Jared Dudley, and Quinn Cook.
Although Davis and his newlywed wife have been together since at least 2017, they have maintained a relatively private relationship. Nala, their jointly born daughter, was born in 2017. In 2020, in response to a question regarding the impact of having his family accompany him to Orlando during the illustrious bubble season (during which the Lakers won the NBA Championship), he expressed that their presence during subpar games and performances on the court was beneficial. Numerous athletes were unable to bring their families along due to factors such as their children’s school schedules and other commitments.
