Molly, a little puppy, has been with her family since forever and loves every moment spent with them. She considers her people as her dearest companions and wishes to be around them all the time, even while they’re sleeping. Recently, Travis Wahl moved back into his parents’ house, and he was thrilled to have Molly by his side once again. Despite Molly being over 14 years old now, Wahl still remembers her as the adorable puppy he got when he was just 12 years old. Their bond is exceptional, and they share an unbreakable connection.
According to Wahl, Molly has been his companion for more than half of his life. He shared that Molly loves to watch him play the guitar and sometimes he sings her a customized version of Barry Manilow’s “Copacabana” that mentions her name. As a puppy, Molly used to sleep in someone’s bed every night, but now that she is old and big, it has become hard for her to get on and off the beds. Although she misses sleeping in her family’s bed, Molly now sleeps with one of Wahl’s shirts every night to feel close to him.
Molly has a peculiar habit of snuggling up with anything that has Wahl’s scent, be it a shirt lying on the floor or any object within her reach. This behavior indicates her fondness for being close to Wahl as if she still shares a bed with him. When she fails to find a shirt, Molly settles for anything associated with Wahl, whether it’s a towel, sock, or even something dirty. As long as it belongs to Wahl, it’s good enough for her to sleep with.
According to Wahl, Molly used to be a bed-hopper, sleeping in whichever bed allowed her in. However, she hasn’t slept on one since July 4th, 2013. Despite this, she’s content to sleep in Wahl’s room every night and doesn’t seem to mind that she can no longer hop on his bed. Even though Molly is getting older and can’t do as much as she used to, she still loves her family just as much as when she was a young pup, and they feel the same way about her.
According to Wahl, she is comparable to a delightful wine that improves with age. Her character has evolved from being decent to becoming the best among the rest.
