Discover the Remarkable Achievement of the Cow with the Longest Horns in the World
A bull in the state of Alabama, USA, has set a world record with the longest horns, up to 3.2 meters.
Poncho became the cow with the longest horns in the world.
According to the Daily Star, the cow named Poncho was raised by the Pope family from a young age in the town of Goodwater. The family said they tracked the size of Poncho’s horn for a long time until it qualified for the Guinness Book of Records.
Unexpectedly, Poncho surpassed another cow in Texas, to become the cow with the longest horns in the world.
“We have been raising Poncho since he was six months old. The name Poncho is based on a famous Mexican television actor in the 1960s,” said Jeral Pope.
The length of Poncho’s horns is up to 3.2 meters.
“All the neighbors here are curious about the cow with the unique long horn. People often bring food for Poncho. He likes apples, carrots and marshmallows.”
Another family member, George Jones, said Poncho was moody when he left, but was rather scary before. “In his youth, Poncho had smaller horns but was more aggressive.”
Guinness World Records manager in the US, Claire Stephens, said: ‘Although it’s often known for its weirdness, the sight of this bull with its record-long horns is impressive.
The cow is nearly 2 meters tall, weighs as much as a car, so it has a lucky ending.
