After 4 years living with the owner, the largest dog in the world has bitten 23 sofas and this number has not stopped.
The largest dog on the planet named Freddy really deserves the title given by the Guinness World Records organization. With a height of 2.2m and a weight of over 90kg, Freddy currently has no opponent in the category of “the biggest dog”.
Claire Stoneman from Essex, England is the dog’s owner and values Freddy more than her own love of a couple. “During the four years of raising Freddy, I think this is the happiest time. I can hold this dog all day and not have to worry about anything,” Claire, 41, told the Daily Star.
“I treat my two dogs Freddy and Fleur as my own. I feel happy to take care of them,” Claire shared about the two dogs she is raising. However, Claire said she now wants a boyfriend on the condition that he agrees to stay with the world’s largest dog.
Every year, Claire has to spend 12,500 pounds (about 354 million VND) to take care of 2 dogs. Fredy’s favorite foods are peanut butter toast and grilled chicken. In addition, Freddy also loves to eat…sofa. After living with Claire for 4 years, the bulky dog has destroyed 23 full-sized chairs.
“I come home and often see a bunch of yarn scattered on the floor. Freddy is a pet anyway and I don’t know how I would live without it,” said Claire in 2014. Every morning, Claire gets up very early and takes Freddy for a walk. She does not want other small dogs to be scared when they see the 2.2m tall creature.
