War is a reality that affects millions of people around the world. There are over 60 on-going conflicts across all continents, continuing to cause devastation, displacement, and loss of life. More than 20 armed conflicts are ongoing in Africa, with several others in Asia. Yet, these conflicts often receive little attention to no attention from the media and the international community. I myself, learnt a lot while studying about the current conflicts to generate the prompts. It is important to reflect on the human cost of war and the urgent need for greater attention, cooperation, and support for those affected by violence.
