Pilots from Southwest Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, and several others saw multiple planes in the region.
Unidentified flying objects (UFOs) have been sighted in the sky over the Pacific Ocean for the past two months, according to a UFO researcher.
Ben Hansen, a former FBI agent and host of the Discovery+ program, ‘UFO Witness,’ obtained air traffic control footage and recordings of mid-air UFO sightings by pilots, the New York Post reported.
Pilots from Southwest Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, and several others saw multiple planes in the region. A former military pilot said he witnessed several planes flying over him.
While flying a charter plane off the coast of Los Angeles, pilot Mark Hulsey radioed air traffic control on August 18 and asked, “We have some planes going north here and it’s circling, much higher that we Any idea what they are?
The controller said he wasn’t sure.
In just 23 minutes, Hulsey reported seeing seven such aircraft, flying above him at between 5,000 and 10,000 feet, which initially numbered three.
In the recording, Hulsey says: “They just keep going around. I was an F-18 pilot in the Marine Corps and I’ve done a lot of interceptions, I’ve never seen anything like this.”
Hansen said the pilot who claimed to have seen strange lights was “seen by more than 15 different commercial flights. And at least six pilots are willing to put their names on record and all if the investigative agencies ask them to,” he said.
An FAA spokesperson told a leading publication that whenever a pilot reports strange sightings to an air traffic control facility, they document it.
Last year, the Defense Department launched a new team tasked with finding and identifying UFOs in restricted airspace after Washington officials admitted they could not explain the phenomenon of UFO sightings.
