Ed Sheeran has so many Guinness World Records titles that we could probably fill a whole book with his achievements.
The British singer has a whopping 16 record titles to his name currently and has previously held many more.
Since 2011, he’s won 186 awards for his music and been nominated for hundreds more.
He’s also had 14 UK No.1 singles and five No.1 albums.
There just seems to be no stopping the hitmaker, who consistently sets records with his singles, albums, and live tours.
While his successes have been incredibly public, he’s always kept his private life away from the cameras as much as possible.
But now, he’s letting fans have a look on the inside with his new documentary Ed Sheeran: The Sum Of It All, which drops on Disney+ today.
The documentary series sees Ed, 32, and his wife Cherry Seaborn, 30, open up about her cancer diagnosis in February 2022.
Ed reveals in the doc that he wrote seven songs in just four hours as he processed his feelings.
The songs are set to feature on his new album Subtract, which could end up bringing him a whole host of new record titles.
In February this year, Ed’s 2017 album ÷ [Divide] was named the most streamed album on Spotify with 12.835 billion plays.
As of that date, the album included five tracks that have all each surpassed 1 billion streams each: “Shape of You” (3.377 billion), “Perfect” (2.333 billion), “Happier” (1.166 billion), “Castle on the Hill” (1.153 billion) and “Galway Girl” (1.130 billion).
His 2018 tour for that album is the highest-grossing music tour in a single year after generating a whopping $429,491,502 (£336,669,000) from 99 shows with a total attendance of 4,800,441.
“Thinking Out Loud” from his 2014 album X spent the most consecutive weeks in UK Top 40 (one single), holding the record with 54 weeks.
The song also holds the record for longest time to reach No.1 on UK singles chart (one run) after it took 19 weeks to climb to the top spot.
