A North American man has just made his name into the Guinness World Records by decorating his long beard with 710 Christmas-themed balls that have gone viral.

The author of the beard decorated like a Christmas tree was awarded a Guinness record

Joel Strasser is famous for putting different objects into his beard. In 2018, he set a record when he successfully put 3,500 toothpicks in it in a total time of 3 hours and 13 minutes. In addition, he put paper straws, jewelry, pencils and forks in it. All succeeded to create a world record in the funniest way.

This time, Strasser said his technique was more mature than previous record-breaking attempts. It took him 2.5 hours to attach the tiny decorative balls to the beard. Strasser said that after getting used to it, he began to divide his beard into small curls and slowly attached the ball.

Strasser’s entire facial muscles were pulled by the weight of the tiny balls

More than 700 of these decorative balls weigh about 2.2kg and they make Strasser’s face sting due to gravity. However, he said this is not a problem because they will help him immerse in the Christmas atmosphere that is approaching.

In the future, Strasser plans to continue to break Guinness records with many new ideas. “When I realized I was the best in the world at attaching things to my beard, I decided to break as many record titles as I could,” he said. He encourages people to explore their strengths and try a world record.
