Soccer star Lionel Messi has had a whirlwind week. On August 5, it was announced that he would be leaving FC Barcelona after 21 years due to contractual issues. On August 10, he had already signed with Paris Saint-Germain, where he will reportedly earn between $35 and $41 million per year.
But let’s back up a bit. Shortly before the explosive news and Messi’s emotional public farewell to his former team, he, his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, and their three sons — Thiago, 8, Mateo, 5, and Ciro, 3 — enjoyed a relaxing getaway to Key Biscayne, Florida, at a Vrbo vacation rental, a rep for the company confirmed to AD . Messi fans will be interested to know that it is, in fact, possible to book a stay in the same home as the soccer legend — as long as you can spend $10,000 a night, that is.
True to Florida style, the house is mostly white, although there are some wood details throughout.

The square, white, modern-style home sits right on the water and has five bedrooms and five full bathrooms and one half bath. Nearly every room features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the infinity pool and bay, and there’s a terrace that wraps around almost the entire house and is perfect for enjoying the gorgeous view. The ground floor features plenty of patio space below the terrace, for outdoor lounging with added shade and privacy.
During his stay at the apartment, Messi shared photos and videos on Instagram of him and his family enjoying the pool and playing soccer in the garden. During the same Florida vacation, it appears the family of five also visited the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, which is about a 40-minute drive from the Vrbo listing and has a unique shape reminiscent of a giant guitar with a window.
