Anticipating the Arrival: Excitement Builds as She Prepares for Her 7th Child at 34 Years Old
Ariel Tyson, at the age of 24, welcomed her first child and has since continued to expand her family with a new son almost every consecutive year. Her children range from 10 to one-year-old, and Ariel is currently 16 weeks pregnant with their seventh child.
While Ariel and her husband, Michael, hope for a daughter, she emphasizes that their desire for a girl is not solely based on appearances, but rather the desire for a mother-daughter relationship.
Ariel admits to experiencing some disappointment regarding gender expectations during her previous pregnancies. However, she now realizes that she wouldn’t trade her sons for a daughter and cherishes each child’s unique presence in their family. The couple’s journey has been filled with surprises and expectations, but they remain grateful for the gift of parenthood.
The magical moment arrived unexpectedly when Ariel went into labor in the early hours of December 4. Ariel’s husband, Michael, took charge, setting up the camera and birth kit as their midwife couldn’t make it. As their seventh child was delivered, Ariel held the baby for a few minutes before discovering they had welcomed a baby girl. The initial 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸 slowly transformed into joy and excitement for the entire family.
Already experienced in home births and parenthood, the Tysons had decided not to find out the gender of their last three children before their births. Ariel found this approach allowed her to enjoy her pregnancies more, without the pressure or added expectations. She firmly believes that every child they have been given is perfect for their family, and that sentiment holds true for their baby girl as well.
Following the initial wave of 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸, an overwhelming sense of excitement filled the Tyson household. The parents and their six older sons, ranging from 10 to 1 year old, eagerly welcomed their baby sister. The brothers have already taken on the role of protective and caring older siblings, getting to know their new family member with love and affection.
Each brother has his own unique way of interacting with the baby girl. Some enjoy holding her and being hands-on, while others check on her and talk to her throughout their day. Ariel sees her role as a mother as vital in helping each child develop their own personalities and talents. Their parenting philosophy is centered around teaching respect, kindness, strength, compassion, and encouraging integrity while nurturing each child’s individuality.
