You can accumulate unforgettable memories by experiencing great happiness in a small space. You don’t need to own a tiny house to experience the freedom, ease of living, and peace of mind that a tiny house offers. In recent years, you can rent one of the tiny houses built in rural areas near cities for a weekend and enjoy the privileges of minimal living.
Kimberly’s tiny house is an example of this. The tiny house is located only 6 minutes from King Street and downtown Boone, in a quiet, isolated area at the foot of a forested mountain.
At first glance, the tiny house looks like a single story, but due to the terrain it was built on, it is actually two stories.
Due to its very steep roof, the tiny house resembles an owl’s nest. The black exterior paint harmonizes well with the forest and the window designs are quite special.
Inside the tiny house, the color white dominates. The daylight entering through the large windows reflects off the white color, making the house very bright. The ceiling made of white painted wood is quite high and gives a feeling of comfort.
At the entrance of the tiny house, there is a kitchen, bathroom, and living area. The living area has armchairs, a desk, and a small coffee table. Apart from these items with a rustic design, there is also a wood stove that will be your close friend on cold days. The kitchen is also dominated by white color.
There is a dining table made of wood in the kitchen with all the items you can make your daily meals. When you proceed from the kitchen, there is a bathroom in the corridor in front of you. Unlike the interior design, the bathroom is the same color as the exterior paint, that is, black. The bathroom has a small bathtub, toilet, and sink.
Another entrance to the tiny house is located at the back. This entrance has a very large veranda supported by wooden poles. There are benches and a table made of wood on the veranda facing the forest side. You can reach the inside of the house from here with wooden stairs.
The wooden stairs leading from right next to the kitchen lead to the mezzanine (we can call it the second floor), the bedroom.
The design on this floor is a continuation of the first floor. The walls and ceiling are painted white and the furnishings are rustic. In the room where there is a double bed, there are storage areas where you can put quite a lot of things.
Although there is no price for the memories you will accumulate during your time in this tiny house in the forest, you can rent this charming house for $200.
